“Art is the most visceral form of communication. Sometimes, she dispenses with words and chooses to use colors, non-precise shapes and textures to provoke questioning, to bring a new meaning, an invitation to another perspective.

It was this path that I chose to express the whirlwind of feelings that I experienced and even live after my cardiac surgery process. An intense moment and, above all, of self-knowledge. Through the misshapen anatomical hearts I represent the strong emotions that we are affected by on a daily basis, peace, tranquility and the sudden disruption of it all.

My hearts represent life, exchange, generosity. That's why I want them scattered around the city. They are a proposal for connection and welcome. Everything we need most intimately. The misshapen hearts are not a speech, they are a provocation for people to feel, love and be present.”
